Mike Piazza Clears Waivers

ESPN's Buster Olney said Athletics DH/C Mike Piazza has cleared waivers and can be traded to any team in baseball.

So there's something to look for in the next couple of weeks.

He will go to the LA Angels or D-Backs

The D-Backs need a bat and Catcher and if he is that bac ARizona pull him for Chris Synder

I don't see how he can go to an NL team either. A team like the Angels who could use a bat, maybe.

But Piazza couldn't throw a runner out 10 years ago. He certainly can't do it now.
