Scouts have checked out Oakland Athletics catcher/DH Mike Piazza at batting practice recently and it's possible that some clubs, such as the Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees, might take a look at Piazza

The Yankees? How many DH's do they need? Piazza and Clemens in the same clubhouse would be worth watching, though.

Piazza returns in the middle of his second longest homerless streak. Since hitting a home run on April 5, he's gone 22 games and 86 at-bats without going deep. He went 27 games and 98 at-bats without a homer with the New York Mets during the 2005 season.

Come to think of it, why would anybody want him? He should just retire, already.

That is what I was thinking. He has been on the block for a while and I haven't even heard a rumor of him going anywhere. He may have no choice, but to quit after the season.
