They have some really good pitching - Dan Haren is one, but are a little offensively challenged Can the A's make the playoffs?

This is the poster child for a small market team...what team they could've been if they had the Yankees payroll...Tejadas, Zito, Mulder, Hudson, Giambi...they would be a contender...

What's up with Rich Harden by the way?...Is he healthy this year?

Rich Harden (1-2) couldn't make it out of the third inning Saturday vs. Seattle in his return to the rotation, leaving with a 4-0 deficit. He told manager Bob Geren that he didn't feel quite right physically and the A's wanted to wait until Sunday to determine Harden's status. "It was not really what I wanted to do," Harden said. "I was a little off."
