Here is what Wikipedia has to say about Mr. Cust.

Jack Cust - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
John Joseph Cust III (born January 16, 1979 in Flemington, New Jersey), is a Major League Baseball player who plays with the Oakland Athletics. He previously played with the Arizona Diamondbacks (2001), Colorado Rockies (2002), and Baltimore Orioles (2003-2004).
Cust attended Immaculata High School (Somerville, New Jersey).
Awards: In 1997, Jack Cust was selected to 1st team High School All-American first base and was Pioneer League All-Star in '98. In 1999 he was Baseball America's 1st team Minor League All-Star DH, California League All-Star and Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League player of the year. In 2001 he was a Pacific League All-Star and was the Triple-A All-Star game MVP in 2002.
On an August 16, 2003 game between the Baltimore Orioles and the New York Yankees, Cust was the tying run in the 12th inning with two outs and tried to score on a single from first base when the ball was bobbled by Centerfielder Bernie Williams. Cust stumbled and fell between 3rd and home plate and was in a rundown. Eventually nobody was covering home plate and Cust appeared to be able to score easily but he fell down and was tagged out by third baseman Aaron Boone to end the game. It is considered to be one of the wildest endings to a game in recent memory.
On May 3, 2007 the San Diego Padres traded Jack Cust to the Oakland Athletics. He made his season debut on May 5, 2007 going 1-3 with a home run. Cust quickly endeared himself with A's fans by hitting 6 home runs in his first 7 games with the A's, Jack hit .346 with 14 RBI's.

It also says he's played for five teams - the Arizona Diamondbacks (2001), the Colorado Rockies (2002), the Baltimore Orioles (2003-2004), the San Diego Padres (2006-2007) and now the Oakland Athletics. Still not a ton of information about the kid, but at least we know a little more about him now than we did.
