Piazza slump

Oakland's Mike Piazza was 0-for-12 coming into today's game. He did get a couple of hits in the A's 4-3 loss to Texas, but he's still hitting just .242 with 1 HR and 4 RBI in 66 at-bats this season. Can he snap out of the slump?

Re: Piazza slump

He has clearly lost some bat speed. It remains to be seen if he can get back to anywhere near where he was.

First goes the leg speed, and then the bat speed. He has been a solid decline in recent years. If he was a stock, I would buy short.
