I've recently met a guy who played with Rich Harden at Central Arizona. He says that in Rich Harden's last year there, he was throwing high 80s, and now he's up in the mid to high 90s and that he knew Harden was taking steroids, he actually talked to him about it. Just wondering what you guys think of this.

I tried looking up any articles from around 2000 regarding Harden and how good his fastball was but couldn't find any. From all accounts today, his fastball is around 95 mph but he has had a lot of injury problems.

Who knows about roids. You'd think he wouldn't be on them now since he could test positive for them. We'll never know I guess.
