Frank Thomas home run record

Frank Thomas of the Oakland Athletics homered in his sixth straight game yesterday, two shy of the major league record. Not a major deal, but a fun little record to follow. Think the Big Hurt can get it done?

Re: Frank Thomas home run record

Maybe. He has certainly had a great season and I can't believe that he is still a possible AL MVP Contender after many mediocre years with the White Sox.

The Big Hurt is making a case for the Hall again...I would vote him in.

Cool Re: Frank Thomas home run record

I agree with you Gotham. He was a dominant player for a long period and with his resurgence this year, he should get in. He has 484 homers and 500 is usually an automatic (except in Palmiero's case).

Re: Frank Thomas home run record

Always the good guy?

The White Sox felt differently. They claimed that he was the most selfish son of a . . .
