According to a recent New York Mets press release, the team has already sold 2.5 million tickets on the season. By comparison, it took until May 3 of last year to reach that mark, meaning Mets tix are far more popular this season -- and I'm assuming, harder to get. I'm guessing their 2006 playoff run has quite a bit to do with this, don't you think?
