Listening to Lou Holtz yesterday, and he feels Notre Dame can win it all. He pointed to a seven game stretch in the middle of the season---Purdue, Stanford, UCLA, Navy UNC, Air Force, Army---that he says is not all that difficult and is a period where the Irish can get healed up and still win each and every game even if they don't play at their best. They've still gotta get thru the tough first four games, and Holtz says Georgia Tech will be extremely hard fought. And then, of course, there is the final game vs. USC. Holtz, however, feels the Trojans have lost a lot in the offensive backfield--they really have--and will be down a notch this season.
