We, the faithful Irish, are responsible to do what ever it takes to get this guy fired! Nice guy no doubt, but there is no question that he is not the guy to lead us to the victory we need.

Weis doesn't know how to develop talent. He only does well in recruiting it. And, ND does that on its own! This year was to be his O-line and it sucked thanks to Latina and Weis. Weis's only success came with Willingham's troops who matured into successful juniors and seniors after being developed by Denbrock and Willingham. Weis has had four years to ready his lines and we see the results---Syracuse (2- 24, Notre Dame 23 AT HOME! I dread what USC has in store for the Irish next week out there. Furthermore, Notre Dame's schedule is weak and average run-of-the-mill programs shouldn't be beating them after four year with the "Offending" genius. No, I don't mean "Offensive".

Is this guy worth 4 millions a year?

Exactly, He has plenty of talent and its just being wasted! Jimmy comes out looking like a bad QB when I know he could be great! Its sad to think all the young players that have had to spend their only fours at ND with this guy, when they could've been WINNING!!!!!

Exactly what I have said for years about Weis. He recruits his players based on the opinions of the "Talking-Heads" instead of basing his recruiting on need. If the rating is 4 or 5 stars Charlie figures the talent is there, Irish fans will be impressed, he will be a winner. Wrong! Hey, Charlie, you and "Latrinea" and the boys have to develop it---not buy the talent like in the pros and you have to do the homework in selecting your talent based on need and your own evaluations.

The bottom line is that Weis won with Willingham's boys the first two years at the helm for the Irish and has lost the last two years with his so-called highly rated recruiting classes. In addition, Weis has had more years than Willingham had to develop the program and Weis has shown nothing spectacular even with a softer schedule and off-year play by some formerly solid opponents.

If the Irish go to a bowl and lose, especially if they lose big, then Weis should go. Charlie, my advice to you is: DON'T GO TO A BOWL, IF OFFERED?!!

seems to be a common argument here .... and yet im not sure any of you really know what youre talking about (i may not know what im talking about either .. but at least im doing the research to back my claims)

i have 2 points to make about all this great Notre Dame talent so many of you think Charlie is wasting

1. 4-5 stars from someone about a high school kid means exactly crap .... believe it or not .... its true

2. since the 1994 NFL draft Notre Dame has had 4 first round draft picks total ...... 4 ..... the talent isnt there ..... and it hasnt been there for over a decade ..... so get over how great Notre Dame is .... they dont have the talent to be great

for whatever the reason is the talent isnt going to ND anymore and it hasnt been for over a decade ..... they go to USC and Florida and Ohio and Alabama ..... but not Notre Dame

these are facts ... not just my theories ..... i dont know if Charlie is a good coach or not ... (and neither do you) .... but what we do know is that the talent isnt now nor has it recently been at Notre Dame
