Those autograph seekers can be relentless, but you'd think the true Irish fans would leave Brady Quinn alone during finals. I mean, what happens if they keep him from his studies and he winds up ineligible. THEN where would they be? They'd all turn on him in a second! So give the kid some space already, would ya? It's for the good of the team!

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- He would exit his Dillon Hall dorm room and find dozens of footballs lying at his feet, waiting for his signature. Many had little notes attached so he could personalize them and turn them into birthday presents.

Brady Quinn obliged as often as he could. The Notre Dame quarterback is accommodating by nature, but he reached his limit this spring while trying to study for finals.

Autograph seekers would knock on his door brazenly. Before long, a line would form.

"I was getting overwhelmed by that," Quinn said. "It seemed to never end."

The same thing happened when he moved out of his dorm after finals. With 50 to 60 footballs outside his door, the Irish faithful are lucky Quinn didn't turn an ankle while lugging his futon away.


This is really funny...I guess people come to worship at the Shrine of Quinn...poor kid...there is enough pressure on him being the Irish QB...and now he can't even study.

Can't say I know what that feels like...I use to spend 8-10 hours in the library and never, not once got asked for my autograph...

So did Weis tell Quinn & Jeff Samardzija to pick an agent before the season starts? I've been hearing rumors that Quinn & Samardzija (nickname "Shark") have been interviewing agents.

If that's true, at what line do we have Brady Quinn ineligible? Are these Notre Dame football players ineligible only if they sign with an agent or what?

Any of you guys know the low down on agents & eligibility?
