found this on another board, I think it would be great to see this game. you know where Saban and Bama stand, both programs are in rebuilding mode, so I think it would be great for both. what do you guys think?

Why not? I honestly don't think we'll see it, but it would be a match-up of the of the historically best college football programs in the country.

Lefty, as long as you place the word "Historically" in there I think it would be interesting to watch. But, from a football spectator stand point they would have to schedule the game on a Wednesday night early for anyone to care enough to turn the "Idoit Box" on.

Speaking as a Bama fan, I will love this game. I want ND to do their best to get back into serious contention. We are doing the same. It could be one of the great national match-ups every year, rivaling USC vs. ND. I would enjoy playing them every year, although it could possibly develop into a quite nasty rivalry knowing the history of the two teams ...
