Irish to add neutral site games

According to the Associated Press, Notre Dame is set to start adding one neutral site football game each season starting in 2009. Apparently, this is an attempt to return the team to its independent, barnstorming roots.

"I think over time we've really begun to behave like a wannabe conference member," Fighting Irish AD Kevin White told reporters. "I think it was real important for us to go back to our roots and behave more like an independent -- go back to the coach Rockne barnstorming era if you will."

What do you folks think of this story? Good idea?
