McAlarney sets ND 3-point record
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - With seven minutes to play Sunday, Kyle McAlarney took a pass early in an offensive set. The Notre Dame student section instantly roared with anticipation, a full-throated plea for the guard to launch another galvanizing, long-range bomb.

Only when that pass hit McAlarney's hands, he was maybe 3 feet inside the line.
