If you add the eight new recruits to the depth chart based on the current practice roster, Notre Dame's baseball program looks like it has a very bright future. The list includes a total of 51 players, with 22 pitchers (8 southpaws), 4 catchers, 12 infielders and 13 outfielders. It looks like the young end of the depth chart adds a lot of hitting power and speed on the bases to the team's strengths, too. If all these players continue to develop their obvious potential, I'm expecting some very exciting baseball in the coming years. |
