The answer is a def. yes. If you noticed the game, one of the best plays was when Walls aggressively went after the pitch - HE came up and hit the player almost the same tiime the ball got there.
Once again ND's defense sat back and did the ole "Wait & Watch" or "Read & React" defense. Good God - the linebackers, safeties, and corners where so far back, no wonder Navy had so much success. How many times did you see a ND player look at the Navy players instead of hitting them?
The scheme stunk! How many corner blitzes did you see? None. How many full blitzes did you see? A few.
Brown lied to us - he promised an aggresive, attacking defense and we got crap.
I do remember after the Tech game I was actually excited about the youth but now that I see very little development on either side of the ball - frustration sets in. And ND fans just sit and take it.

Can you say young team? Hello young team buddy. Doesn't Navy have 18 year seniors. The only way they get off the team if they get shipped to Iraq and Iran(war in the making). It was a great game yeah we loss it sucks but it took 3 ot to beat a stuggling N.D. team. N. D. looked good in places that I had not seen them in a long time.
