You would have to be blind not to realize that all of the blame falls to one man!! CHARLIE WEIS!! What is he thinking?! what is wrong with him?!! Everything that he has said and done since he started coaching our beloved team has showed that he is not in any way capable of coaching our team.
I do not believe that the team has no skill! Jimmy clausen looks like he has potential but needs a decent coach! michigan started thier true freshman and did fine, so youth is not the only problem! And for the line, it's not like there midgets or something, it's just that no one is bor knowing how to play football. AKA they need to be taught!! What on earth did they do all off season??!
"Well he went 9-3 and 10-3 the first two seasons!" Oh, really?! He was 'building' off of ty's team. besides,how many top ten teams did he beat? How many bowl games did he win? They only beat the cruddy teams! and got plastered by the good teams.
The way there playing Clausen won't physically survive USC!

I think you are wanting to do to him what ND did to Ty. They got rid of him before he got his recruiting class going. You may be correct and he may be a bust as a coach, but give him some time to establish his team. Willinghams recruits should be gone by now. Let's see what his recruits can do. If you get rid of him already, you will have to rebuild again with a new system.

Right, let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater here. Tough season, but Irish fans need to grit their teeth and bear it, and make make some changes on the staff (OL coach). But there's a lot of young talent here and it's going to get better. Patience, people, patience.

Stoney, I firmly believe impatience is the biggest problem in sports today. Owners, GMs, coaches, fans, all impatient. Look at Jeff Fisher of the Titans. A lot of people were calling for his head late last year. Now he just got a big contract extention and everyone seems to be loving it. But he's not a better coach now than he was a year or two ago.

It takes time to build a winner, and Tennessee is now seeing the fruits of his labor. Same thing will happen with your Tide, I believe - you know full well I'm expecting it to take 2-3 seasons before they're legitimate SEC contenders. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, but the end of next year, just you watch - there will be a considerable presence of the Alabama community calling his tenure a failure already. Weis and Saban, like Fisher, will pay dividends IF GIVEN TIME.

Wies is just an average coach with a team that has very limited talent. They are not competitive and look terrible. They will be hard pressed to win more than 4 games this season. His performance compared to Ty isn't much better and for a three game stint his team look worse than any ND team we've seen in years. I don't think he should be fired but ND fans need to understand that it's going to be a long season.

Charlie needs next year to redeem himself but he needs a better OL coach to develop some pretty good talent ND brought in these past three years. Unless Weis gets rid of Latina, he should go the same way Willingham did for not giving up his DC. But, Willingham didn't have a ten year contract in his back pocket with the potential to earn 4 M+ yearly. It would be too expensive to let Weis go in the immediate future. The Irish fans are stuck with Weis for a few more years when many would like. Thanks, Dr. White, for you brillant thinking on this hire!

Next year there will be 3 full recruiting classes that are all ranked in the top 10. The man can coach...what he did with Brady and company is proof of that. Right now this crew is too young.

There is a total absence of coaching taking place under the arrogant guidance of Chuckles Weis. The guy has no clue whatsoever. His big "schematic advantage" is to act important and "manage by the seat of your pants".

The team cannot put teams away, and they have not played a complete game all year. Blocking and tackling fundamentals are not being taught. They get constantly blown out whenever they play a top caliber team.

Weis is the most disorganized and least focused Head Coach in all of College Football. Notre Dame needs to oust this guy at once.

Now at 6-6 for the year, they will likely go to a minor bowl game, and extend their NCAA Bowl Game losing record to an incredible 10 games.

Chuckles must go immediately!

Notre Dame football is going to regret retaining Weis. They have made poor choices selecting coaches and there is nothing out there to make me think it's going to change. This is truly disappointing to embrass another season with Weis at the the helm. Fire Weis...Fire Latina...Fire Swarbrick
