Odd story here - yesterday, I heard that Weis had installed some packages for Demetrius Jones, since he was more mobile. This morning, though, I read that Jones did not make the trip to Ann Arbor for the game. In fact, according to Charlie Weis, Jones himself decided not to show up and missed the team bus. What's all this about?

The FBI was called in when a powdery white substance was found on the playing field. Charlie Weis suspended practice and Hazmat teams decontanimated the players. Afterwards it was determined the substance was chalk. Even though it was completely safe Demetrius Jones wouldn't go any where near the goal line.

Well, football doesn't get any uglier than this. 31-0, Wolverines, at the half. Notre Dame has (-2) rushing yards at this point and they've given up over 200 total yards to the Michigan offense. There have been three Notre Dame turnovers. Ugly doesn't even begin to describe this comedy of errors.

Even the POPE can't save Notre Dame from an embarrassing season. They may not win a game this season.
