Demetrius Jones' high school coach said to a Chicago paper "Let's just say that Demetrius is going to make everyone in Chicago proud. I think anyone who is taking most of the snaps in practice would be the guy who starts."


Is jones really the starter or was he just mistaken? Also will this affect his spot on the roster if Weis wanted it kept quiet.
Why would the coach say this. It seems very self-centered to say this and possibly take away an edge for ND against Georgia Tech.

Last I had heard, they all were taking equal amounts of snaps...so this is news to me...

Well, I guess it's possible. But it proves nothing and only adds to the conjecture since Jones was probably everyone's pick as the least likely to win the starting job. I'm convinced it won't be Claussen, though.

I have thinking it would be Claussen but with Surgery no it will be Sharply.
