Brady Quinn Finishes Third in Heisman Trophy Balloting :: Quinn first Irish player in the top three since Raghib Ismail placed second in 1990.
Notre Dame senior quarterback Brady Quinn finished third in Saturday night's voting for the 2006 Heisman Trophy, making him the highest Irish finisher since Raghib Ismail took second to BYU's Ty Detmer in the 1990 Heisman race.

That always sucks about the voting...though ND TV contract can't hurt thier guys chances...

I really agree with the regional voting idea. Not only was he from the midwest, but he was also another quarterback, I think that hurt him....
