Re: Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl

I would like to hear from the idiot that made this post now; "Their offense is not as strong as say those of USC or Michigan, but they still have a lot of weapons." How do you feel about your statement now??

I think we proved just how high powered our offense is in this game, when we got Jessie Daniels and others back after suspension in the second half you guys were just shut down plain and simple then our offense really wore down your defense. Not as strong as USC or Mich?? Yeah right.

Geau Tigas!!!! I luv it

Re: Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl

Are you really a tiger or a kitty cat?

My thoughts on the game are simple. Notre Dame is a joke! Notre Dame is all about the money. Only the rich attend Notre Dame, baby! I have never been impressed with Notre Dame and I live about forty minutes from campus and have never been to any of their games. I was thrilled to see LSU spank'em!!!!

Re: Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl

After 2 straight BCS blowouts, hopefully they don't get invited back to another until they prove they deserve to be there but I know that will never happen because it's Notre Dame. The good ole days of ND are over & I wish the media & pollsters would realize this.

Re: Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl

I'm sure Notre Dame fans are expecting things to be better next season. My advice to them is to be patient. No team replaces talents like Quinn, Sarmardzija, and Zbikowski with equally-talented players overnight. Those three are some of the very best players the Irish have ever had play for them. Rhema McKnight, while a level below the other three, is an exceptional player who will also be sorely missed. The overall squad will gradually improve with each passing season, in all likelihood, but the star-quality difference makers may or may not be there. Only time will tell.

How is an Irish fan supposed to responde to a butt-whuppin' like that? You can't. You need to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and hope for better next season. They have young talent at QB and will hopefully boast a little more team speed on defense in 2007. Only time will tell, though.
