It is not Notre Dame themselves that cause the despise. It is everyhthng that surrounds them at first, then it is the domers rolling and wallowing in there own self-pity. Why does Notre Dame get there own BCS bid, they are not more special than the entire big ten. I cannot stand all the crap that goes along with this school, and that is why a majority of society cannot stand this school. Why can they not just join a conference and quit thinking they are the greatest. They deserved the pounding they got yesterday. However, I do agree that Henne will have a tough timing remaining on his pedastool.

First off, Penn State had their chance to dominate ND. What happened in that game again? Secondly, Notre Dame gets special treatment because they travel better than just about any team in the country, and they bring in big TV rating. Even the haters, such as yourself, want to watch them, root against them and kick 'em when they're down. They're the Yankees of college football - big money, people love 'em or hate 'em, a storied history and simply impossible to ignore.

Yeah, but I'm already hearing some Irish fans talk about Weis being "another Willingham" - meaning one good season before the wheels fall off. Again, I agree that it's too early to panic. But I guess a few ND fans disagree.

Any Notre Dame fan that says Weis will be like Willingham is not a true fan. Look at our Junior and Sophmor classes compared to the top teams. We have way less talent, and wont have that level until around 2008. Weis has done a hell of a job with what he has.

Brady Quinn is still the best QB in the nation.
