| O my God! its PSU Eleven National Championships and the Fighting Irish still--- Yes, Notre Dame does have a huge following of loyal fans, but their "Holier than Thou" attitude and the thought that they're "God's Gift to Earth" also--- off alot of their non-fans. Furthermore, Notre Dame refuses to join a conference. They want to stay an independent so they can pick and choose who they want to play. They always pick a schedule that is one of the easiest in the nation year after year after year. |

| Re: O my God! its PSU Welcome to GoTeamsGo, PHDatPSU - nothing like jumping in with both feet, eh? With all due respect (and not as a Notre Dame fan, I should point out) I have to disagree with your assessment of the school. 11 national titles are proof positive of their rich tradition, and they remain independent because they can command millions of dollars directly for their TV rights, without having to split it with a conference club. As far as their schedule goes - 4 of the 12 schools they play this year are from the Big Ten, plus they've got USC on their schedule, and its not exactly like Georgia Tech or UCLA are Akron or anything. Regardless, this should be a good game. I imagine you're predicting a Lions victory?
