Freshmen look to improve running game
Notre Dame freshmen Cierre Woods and Theo Riddick are different personalities and roommates. They are also competition for each other as well as for Armando Allen Jr. ,Robert Hughes, and Jonas Gray. Allen is the expected starter, even though he is nursing a hamstring injury. Last year he was the leading rusher for the Irish with 134 carries for 585 yards, 4.4 ypc.
Coach says there is good ability and competition at that spot.
