After missing 2 field goals vs. GA. Tech, this kicker is not very good. Missing the 40-some yrd. field goal might be excusable, but 2 field goals. Do we need a new kicker?

Give him a shot, if I remember correctly I think he is a Sophmore. He has room to grow but I agree his kicks were way off and had horrible spin.

What's the scoop on this guy? A kicker can make or break a season for a team. When my Vols won the title in 1998, our kicker was Jeff Hall. His kicks were the winning edge in both of our 1st 2 games that year.

Gotta have a strong kicker if you want to make it to the title game.

Gioa is a senior, there is a reason this is his first year starting. I say give him another shot but have Burkhart ready to go.
