Can you believe it? The AP is reporting that next season, for the first time in three decades, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be selling season ticket packages! The tickets will be sold in order to help fund an estimated $40 million in repairs to Notre Dame Stadium. Only 5,000 packages will be made available at a cost of $413, plus an annual fee of $2,000 per ticket for sideline seats; $1,500 per ticket for seats in the corner of the stadium; and $1,250 per ticket for end zone seats.

How about THAT, eh? Anyone thinking of trying to secure Irish season tickets?

I am an ND alumn looking to find someone to split the tickets/cost of the new ND season tickets that are being offered in the spring at Preserving the Traditions // Notre Dame Stadium. I am already on the waiting list. The cost is between $1,250-$2,000 per ticket per year, plus the face value of the tickets, which is around $450. There should be 7 home games in the upcoming years. The partnership would obviously have to iron out the details such as selecting games and options if one party wanted to discontinue, but the general idea would be to split the cost and the tics. These tickets cannot be resold at higher than face value.
