Hard to believe former UNC pitcher Jonathan Hovis wasn't drafted. After all, he only led the NCAA in earned run average. But the scouts didn't think he was big enough, and they didn't think he threw hard enough, so no one selected him. So Hovis went to play for the Yankees Staten Island affiliate, where he has yet to allow an earned run. I think the kid will wind up being pretty good a few years down the road. What do you think?
