It does not look like much can stop these North Carolina Tar Heels. Even more hype came to the Tar Heels when star forward Tyler Hansbrough, averaging 22.6 PPG last season, said he would hold off the NBA draft, and play his senior year at North Carolina. However, Hansbrough isn't the only player on the team, Wayne Ellington, who can be a big threat from the perimeter was averaging 16.6 PPG. This team shouldn't have too much trouble being great this year.

SG- Wayne Ellington- Jr.
SF- Marcus Ginyard- Sr.
PF- Tyler Hansbrough- Sr.
C- Deon Thompson- Jr.

The starting lineup is all returning starters. So they should have another great season. It has been said that through all of this the coach wants more stops on defense.



A big part of the Tar Heels season though could fall on the shoulders of senior Tyler Hanbrough who averaged in amazing 10.2 RPG. During practice it is said that he was practicing a lot of three pointers during practice, and he may be attepmting more during the season.



So all-in-all I rank the Tar Heels as number 1 for this upcoming NCAA mens college basketball season. They seem to play a lot of power ball as a team, but may be shooting more shots from outside the three pointer which could add to this teams success.
