Sweet Sixteen: Tar Heels beat Washington State

North Carolina proved again last night why a lot of folks expect them to win the NCAA Championships this year.
Tyler Hansbrough scored 18 points and the Tar Heels crushed the Cougars, 68-47.

Can this team take UCLA? Are they getting too comfortable?

Man, I dropped in the at just the right time! UNC can beat UCLA without a doubt. But who says that UCLA will make it to Championship game. They are great team as is UNC, but there are still two games to play before the final one. Ans as it has been proved a lot this season, anything can happen.

I've got to agree... UCLA looked vulnerable last night. It's no given the Bruins are going to make it. The Heels are another story, though. They're in.

Tomorrow's night game should be a good one. We could have a tough path though. Louisville is a good team and there is a great chance we could play Kansas if we beat the Cards. So it's going to be a tough next two for us.

they can beat ucla by 15. even though darren collison is the better guard. carolina has a better coach. kevin love has more talent than hansbrough but hansbrough hustles WAY more. and the tarheel shooters (thomas, ellington, green) are more reliable and consistent than ucla's shooters. but ucla blocks alotta shots. tarheels would prolly be neck and neck before breaking away at around the 12 minute mark of teh second half.

every morning i wake up and here people on espn trying to hate on unc. supposedly arkansas was supposed to slow em down. then washing state was supposed to "stop ty lawson" (hahahaha) and overwhelm the tarheels. i dont think louiville will be in it after the first half. north carolin ais a meat grinder right now

All Four are great teams this year;and traditional basketball powers at that! Kansas probably the weaker of the teams but I've seen the weaker team win it all in a final four. It's going to be a good one!

kansas is the weaker? kansas is prolly the strongest. dont let that davidson game fool you. kansas is plain ol' big and bad. they got 3 players equivelant to love/hansborough. if brandon rush wasnt injured before this season he would be in teh nba or have as much hype around him as rose/collison/lawson/augustin. memphis is prolly teh weakest of the two. but thats like saying they own the slowest ferrari

thanks, I haven't followed them as close. I was thinking they didn't beat Texas by much and Texas got mowed down in the tournament.
But I appreciate your comments as I know Bill Self's teams can bring it on.
I will even enjoy the matchups better with your info for me.
thanks
