The 1 - 2 Tarheels will be taking on the 2-0 Bulls on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 12 pm. The game will be aired nationally on ESPN.

The Tarheels are coming off of a heartbreaking loss to the Virginia Cavaliers after being down 16-7 at halftime. They rallied back to lose 22-20.

The Passing game for the tarheels is looking great with T.J. Yates being ranked 9th nationally in QB rating, and 12th nationally is yardage. The receiving core is next to none with the 3 main targets all over 200 yards on the season.

The running game is still in discovery mode with Johnny White carrying most of the load with 16 carries for 60 yards.

The run defense is hurting right now, but the core of the defensive line is still young.

This will be a very trying game for the Heels with the Bulls being a very good team.

Go Tar Heels. My favorite ACC team. One of my best friend's son was a 4 year starter for the Heels and we watched a ton of games back then. The Mack Brown era - hopefully they are on the way back.

Ah, but this is the same USF team that dumped Auburn. I think they could win the Big East this year, they're that good.

they are very good. They have a solid team. It's going to be tough one for the Heels!

Well, it's halftime and UNC is loosing 20-3. We'll see what kind of adjustments are made during halftime.

Sorry, Tar Heels fans. USF was just too much for UNC, 37-10. Heck, the Bulls even had a 428-164 total yardage advantage.

Yeah that was a tough game. UNC is just so young and in experienced. When 53 players on your roster have never seen division 1 football action, you know it's going to be a long season.
