But also, I just read that ECU was without their starting QB last week because of a suspension for a DUI (a one game suspension, kinda ridiculous that he only got one game for a DUI) but it has been stated through ECU that he has been moved to the bottom of the depth chart. |

| Re: North Carolina vs. East Carolina Yeah, I guess it makes sense. I mean, they say home field is worth three points. And that ECU defense looked pretty good on the hole, holding Va. Tech to a net of 33 yards rushing and recording four sacks. How will the Heels manage to score on them? What offensive weapons should we keep an eye on?

| Re: North Carolina vs. East Carolina Carolina's passing attach looks really good. They have 3 wide receivers that could be starting at any college in Hakeem Nicks, Brooks Foster, and their return specialist Brandon Tate. Also, UNC's special teams are really good. Brandon Tate is a great punt and kickoff returner. And UNC also completely blocked 1 punt and tipped 2 others in the James Madison game. So I would say look out for that. |

| Re: North Carolina vs. East Carolina Boy, was this a tough loss for UNC. According to the Associated Press, "Patrick Pinkney threw for 406 yards and three touchdowns in his first start and Ben Hartman shook off three missed field goals to kick the winner on the final play in East Carolina's 34-31 win over North Carolina on Saturday night... Chris Johnson added two touchdown catches and a rushing score for the Pirates (1-1), who managed to hold on for a thrilling victory in their home opener against their instate rival. It was only East Carolina's second victory in 11 tries -- the last coming 32 years ago -- against the Tar Heels (1-1)." | Re: North Carolina vs. East Carolina So I am upset that my Heels lost this game. It was a tough loss, and we could have won if Baucom would not have botched the hold on the field goal attempt at the end. But there are some bright sides. T.J. Yates looked really good and he lead his team with poise. He was 20 for 32 with 344 yards passing, 3 td's and only 1 interception. The running game still has much to be desired. So even though we lost, we are looking better. We have Virginia next weekend and they are just horrible right now. So hopefully we can pull out this win. |
