InsideCarolina.com has reported that Emmanuel Moody was flying into North Carolina last night to visit UNC. Moody recently left USC in order to transfer to another college. Moody was the second leading rusher at USC last year with 458 yards on 79 carries.

Do you guys think this would be a good pickup for UNC?

Oh, yeah, he'd be a huge pickup for Butch Davis. Could be a real difference maker for the Heels.

He would not be available till next year. He would be able to enroll before the drop/add period and this would count as his year to sit out.

Just a tidbit. InsideCarolina.com is reporting that Moody was scheduled to leave this morning but has decided to stay through the afternoon in order to see part of the practice. They are reporting that the nations best recruiter (John Blake) is working with Moody and his mom who came on the trip with him. Rivals.com is reporting it is a lock that Moody will be transferring to UNC.

Yeah, I figured he'd have to sit out a year - he's leaving because USC has 10 tailbacks, not due to any hardship. Moody would be a great pickup for Davis, though, even though they'd have to wait a year on him. Could send their stock in the ACC soaring, if you ask me.

ESPN.com just reported that Moody has narrowed his choice down to UNC and Florida.

The word out is that he could make his decision as early as tonight but something should be come out this weekend for admission purposes.
