| CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Mike Fox cherished North Carolina's come-from-behind victory that kept his team positioned for another deep postseason run. He just wishes two of his players wouldn't have injured themselves celebrating it. A day after the Tar Heels rallied for three runs in the ninth inning of their 11-10 win over East Carolina, Fox said Sunday that the players hurt during the postgame party should be OK for Monday's championship round game at the Chapel Hill Regional. Moments after Dustin Ackley singled home the winning run Saturday night, a mob scene took place near home plate. The winning pitcher, reliever Rob Wooten, broke one of his right front teeth on a teammate's head when he tried to hug the player who scored the winning run -- outfielder Reid Fronk -- as he popped up after his slide. The collision left a gash in the back of Fronk's head that required five stitches to close, Fox said. "You can actually see Rob's tooth in the air" in photos of the scene, Fox said. "It's one of those, somebody gets hit in the mouth, it makes your own tooth hurt. It was a little scary, but obviously we'll have to be careful about that." Wooten will wear a mouthguard to protect the tooth from dirt, and will have it repaired Tuesday, Fox said.
