North Carolina (1-9) has struggled this season, but the Tar Heels have won two straight over NC State and are looking for a victory in John Bunting's final home game.

So who do you guys like in this one? Can the Heels win one for Bunting in his final home game, and make it 3 straight over the Wolfpack?

I'm not going to say this because I am a UNC homer (but I am). I believe Carolina wins this. They have played well the last two weeks. And what better of a going away present than to give Bunting who is alumni, than to beat the second most hated team in Chapel Hill.

I believe they will rally around Bunting and play good football. I also predict that McGill will have a 100 yard rushing game.

My prediction:

I'll buy into the "rally around the coach" thinking. Plus the rivalry deal will have everyone motivated anyway. A win would be a nice momentum builder going into the Butch Davis era.

The first drive of the game summed up the season that UNC has had the whole season. McGill has some great drives, UNC takes him out, throws the ball, turnover. Classic. I love them, but they make me so mad!

TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!! As I said in the thread yesterday about this game, McGill would break the 100 yard mark rushing. Well, in the 1st quarter alone, he has over 80 yards rushing.

It could be a long day for NCSU!!!!

An update on things. A good thing is that UNC is stopping NCSU from seeing the endzone. The bad thing is that they are letting them get within field goal distance.

So Conner Barth just kicked the longest Field Goal of his carear wearing Carolina Blue.
Barth just kicked a 54 yard field goal to make the score 13 - 6.

I'll be honest, this kid is good. He has not gotten as much attention as he should have being that he has been at UNC. He got some spotlight in 2004 when he kicked the game winner against Miami.

Maybe he will finally get some recognition.

Well a typical UNC / NCSU game. UNC sacked Evans and recovers the fumble for a TD. It ends with Shelton Bynum hitting a NCSU player and being ejected from the game. Got to love a tough game.
