Graves Will Redshirt 2006-07 Season :: True freshman will practice but not play with the Tar Heels this season.
William Graves, a freshman forward on the University of NorthCarolina men's basketball team, will sit out the 2006-07 season as aredshirt, head coach Roy Williams announced Tuesday before theregular-season opener against Sacred Heart.

That was a smart choice for this kid. He's considered a Small Forward and if you look at the depth that UNC has at forward, it's apparant that he might would not get to play much. You have Reyshawn Terry & Danny Green. So that puts him as the number 3. But Terry is in his senior year, so Graves get's to practice with one of the most under appreciated players in the NCAA and also get more a chance to focus on school. Good call William and Roy.
