What does everyone think about UNC this year? Obviously they lost a lot from last season, but they are still putting together a nice year and have been very competitive. They almost knocked off Duke and have a couple of big wins.

With a win against Wake Forest today, UNC upped its record to 17-6; not bad for the ACC.

So how far will they go in the tourney? I am predicing a sweet 16 appearance, no further!

The Tar Heels are a team you can never count out. Most impressively, their now 5-1 in ACC road games this season. Still got two tough road contests on their schedule, at N.C. State and at Duke, though. They have a decent shot of getting 20 victories, but they've got to have one of those two games.

You are definitely right, plus they have the ACC Tourney which may grab them another win or two going into the BIG Dance!

I am a big UNC fan and they lost a lot of good players last year. I don't think they make it to the Final Four. Maybe the sweet 16 but they would have to mature a lot in the next couple games. The game againist Duke was awesome that was a great game. They put there hear and souls into that game. Just not enough this year maybe the next Duke game. The Heels next year will be a team to beat they will have more experience if all the guys stay. So watch out next year were back and were coming for the TITLE!!!

Even if the Heels can make it to the Sweet 16, that would be an amazing feat considering the circumstances. They have got to be the favorites to win the conference heading into next season, no doubt about it.

The way they are playing right now the heels have a chance for the Sweet 16! They are maturing as they go and they will be a force later on! Keep on truckin UNC you will definetly be back next season!!!

Nice string of wins for the heels right now. What's the scoop on the 2 remaining regular season games? Virginia should be a pretty easy win for you guys. But what about your Duke buddies? JJRedick and friends are looking pretty strong.

I do not agree with that statement. Even though Duke is probably the best team in the country, they are definitely beatable. This is evident by how well Carolina played them the first time.

The main difference is obvious; the game is being played at Duke which will make things much more difficult.

I think Unc will surprise some people in the tourney. They are doing so well for loosing all that talent to the NBA. Sweet 16 is possible for these TarHeels just depends on who they play.

With the recruiting class that Williams has coming in there is no doubt that this team is going to be very dangerous next year. I hope that they can keep things going this season and cause some damage in the Big Dance!

UNC could take Duke down a notch in there in game if they were to loose. Duke doesn't need a The heels will make it to the sweet 16 no doubt!!!
