| Pro success tall order for Flacco If Delaware's Joe Flacco goes on to have an outstanding career, he will have crossed a boundary line for successful NFL quarterbacks. Flacco, at 6-6 1/4, is taller than any above average quarterback in at least 20 years. One personnel director said he had a problem with Flacco because he is so tall and that history tells you they arent much good at his height. One person who should give Flacco hope is Derek Anderson, 6-6, who with his big frame and big arm led the Browns to 10-6 last season. JS Online: Draft Preview: Quarterback I dont understand this. JaMarcus Russell is 6-6 and he was a no. 1 pick last year. So what's the diff with this guy? Someone explain please. |

That is also true. I do think Delaware has gotten notice a bit in the last couple of years. One title, and another runner up, might help. And now the Delaware State is also stepping it's program up, we may find ourselves in even better shape. Delaware is never going to be the big Time of Ohio State, Va Tech, Miami (FLA), or the many other great programs out there, but I do think they will have some impact players here and there. Is Flacco one of em, time will tell. |

| Re: Pro success tall order for Flacco Well, to me that's a dumb reason. Who cares what school a guy comes from if he can play ball? Of course, we dont know if Flacco can but we dont know for sure if any of the others can play in the NFL either. But I follow you. Thanks |

Now the big question is, have little guys done better than big guys?...the Pat Haden and Doug Flutie and Brees of the NFL, have they been better than the over 6-5 QB? |
