| Re: Miami stuck with # 1 pick Actually, Stoney, now it's looking like it's going to be Michigan tackle Jake Long. He's the guy they're negotiating with. But you're right, in the past, there always seemed to be that one guy people would knock themselves over to try and trade up to get. Not this year, though. There's no true home-run pick in 2008's class.

| Re: Miami stuck with # 1 pick If Marty Hurney was any kind of GM he would find a way to make McFadden a Carolina Panther. Sadly he won't and he will subsequently get fired and we will bring in a new head coach and GM. |

| Re: Miami stuck with # 1 pick The Jets just signed Thomas Jones to a big contract so with McFadden you're gonna have 2 big time paychecks at the same position. I agree with taking McFadden for the Jets but a lot of Jets fans are questioning a possible overstock at the position.

If Glenn Dorsey falls to Atlanta (meaning the Rams draft Chris Long), that's who they're taking. That leaves McFadden to the Raiders, and several teams, including the Panthers, looking to move up into the Chiefs spot. |

| Re: Miami stuck with # 1 pick The Jets are taking McFadden from what I hear on sports radio and stuff. Nothing official but from the sportscasters who talk to Jets team officials it seems like they want him. I tell you though, he would be so perfect for the Panthers!! If they could work out a deal.... |
