He is another David Carr. Sorry but I think Carolina needs a cajun QB that can understand Delhomme. Besides Flynn has demonstrated patientence and has a national title under his belt. Since Tebow won't be available till next year this guy is the best fit for Carolina.

Well, Goth had Ray Rice, RB, Rutgers going to Detroit, so we'll go ahead and make that their official pick.

Re: GTG 2008 Mock NFL Draft

Anyone get the feeling the Dolphins might trade their pick? Also possibly the Jets if McFadden or maybe Chris Long isn't available? I mean these teams need to fill up a lot of holes so if there isn't someone they are in love with and someone makes them an offer....

Yeah, I could see them trading it, if they can find a taker... though trades are banned for purpose of our mock draft.

Speaking of which... want to make the next pick, Dusty? The Bengals are on the clock in the second round. Who do you think they'll take?

Re: GTG 2008 Mock NFL Draft

Question for Noob.... Since I was picking for Carolina I noticed somebody else picked Jonathan Stewart RB from Oregon. Was this intentional the guy is injured? If it pleases everybody I would ask to replace him with Jacob Hester FB LSU. If everyone else agrees.

I personally wouldn't change it, this pick was made before we found out he was hurt and a team will still draft him, even though he is hurt.

Gee and I thought Carolina was trying to get away from drafting hurt players like Dan Morgan.
