Biggest Draft Head-Scratcher

There's always one in every NFL Draft. The pick that makes you scratch your head and go, "huh?" Last year it was the Dolphins with Ted Ginn. What will it be this year? What's the biggest head-scratcher of all time? And which was the pick that was ripped the most, but actually turned out to be a good selection in the end (Jeff Lageman comes to mind)?

Re: Biggest Draft Head-Scratcher

I remember Drew Brees falling down to the Chargers one year, mostly cause of his height, while Vick went first overall (I think) and I didn't get it...I thought Brees was the real thing...Sometimes you got to look pass the prototype numbers.

I also think small school players are never given a good enough shot...look at Tony Romo...he was an award winner but played at a small school...so he gets over looked.

Re: Biggest Draft Head-Scratcher

Steve McNair was much the same way. He was, if I'm remembering right, a Heisman winner. Dreadfully overlooked on draft day, but he got the last laugh in the end. With Lageman (who I mentioned earlier), I remember the experts basically laughing at the Jets. But he wound up being a solid player.

Well the Jets taking Kyle Brady in round one, one year was tough on fans...they hated that pick...and Brady was okay, but never great.
