hmmm...can't say there was a Calvin Johnson in the bunch...so you might be right...though Ferguson was still on the board as a offensive lineman...

Well, you could make an argument for Ferguson over Bush, but Bush was such an explosive playmaker, I can see where he could have the edge.

Its not about selling shirts. Its about winning games. Team shirts are a side line. What good does it do to sell a bunch of shirts if your team ends up in the cellar.
Hindsight is always better than foresight and maybe the Saints wish they had done something different now.
The big splash about Bush was that he was supposed to be such an explosive outstanding player. The fact that he was so marketable could be considered a plus, not the first factor in the decision.
