Welcome to the site. Why don't you drop by the intro section and tell us a little about yourself. Who is your favorite team??? It will be hard to get quality line help. Everybody seems to need a lineman.

Re: Top Ten Player for the 2008 NFL Draft?

Brian Brohm's senior year was excellent on his part.
He had to deal with new coaches and poorer quality of offensive line and receivers from previous years.
He carried the team on his shoulders many times as Louisville's terrible defense at the beggining of the season had him throwing almost every play.

Well, guess what happens?
the defense pins their ears back with all out pass rushes in those cases.
Ask Tony Romo and Tom Brady what the NY Gaints blitz did to them. They didn't look too good did they?
And by-the-way...what draft order were they picked.

And guess what? Boston College is "offensive line university" and who is the quarterback on that team in this years' draft? Offensive lines can make a qb look good indeed.
Brohm's stats were still incredible for the year.
All the scouts know he sees the field and can audible and make pin point passes.

Perhaps it may be good fortune to be under the wing of an experienced QB for a year. Brian is a good student of the game and smart too.
Brohm, who earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors in 2005 and second team accolades in 2006 and 2007, was a first team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America selection in 2006 and 2007. He holds a 3.52 grade-point average as a finance major.

I know Steve Beuerlein excelled playing behind Troy Aikman and winning some key games when Aikman was hurt.

I'm telling ya. I just think someone is going to get a player who will be around for a while if they choose Brohm.

Quarterbacks are a hot commodity and NFL teams do amazing bluff jobs of who they might select first.
There are not enough Quarterbacks in the NFL right now.

Just because Brohm didn't come from say USC doesn't mean he couldn't have gone there....remember that.
He stayed at Louisville for building something in the community. His offers were from Every college in the nation coming out of High School. Tennessee wanted him despirately as their next Payton Manning.

I like Brohm a lot...he has a MLB quality arm...I think he can out throw the QB field
