Re: Best NFL Draft The Eagles definitely got talent, DrCool. There's some debate about whether or not Bunkley was a need pick, but if he's as good as advertised, who cares? Justice was a steal and I'm high on Bloom. Don't forget they also got Jason Avant. I'm sure they're hoping at least one of those guys emerges into a #1 or #2 receiver!

Well, I am a gambler by nature...I was happy to see Houston roll the dice not once but twice...If you are going to run with the big dogs...you got to take some risk...here's hoping they turn out for them...

Re: Best NFL Draft Uh oh, Gotham... I think you're having a senior moment there? Now if by chance you're talking about the TENNESSEE Titans, drafting Vince Young and LenDale White, then I'm apt to agree with you. Houston rolled the dice by passing on Bush for Williams, but off the top of my head, I can't think of another major gamble on their part.

Re: Best NFL Draft Arizona and Philly had themselves a might good draft as well. Here's a list of 'Zona's picks: 1. Matt Leinart, QB, USC: It's still a toss up on how good Leinart will be. He does happen to have a TON of offensive talent around him in Arizona though (and a vetern QB to help him along). 2. Taitusi Lutui, OG, USC: A strong, massive running blocking guard. He and Leonard Davis are going to make an insane 1-2 punch in the running game. 700 pounds combined. 3. Leonard Pope, TE, Georgia: I thought Pope was the 2nd best TE coming into the draft. He is an excellent big play receiver but does lack in blocking (which is probably why he slipped in the draft, I suppose). A steal to go at round 3, IMO. 4. Gabe Watson, DT, Michigan: A underachiever throughout his career @ Michigan, but he did show signs of dominance from time to time. The 4th round is usually filled with these types of players; however, not many 4th round picks has his potential. He would have been a late 1st round or early 2nd round if he managed to play consistently 5. Brandon Johnson, LB, Louisville: I don't know much about him other than he is a physically gifted player (6'5, 230, 4.47 40 time). Could develop into an edge rusher. 6. Jonathan Lewis, DT, Virginia Tech: A bit undersized for a DT (6'1, 305 or so) especially in today's game. He also plays "small", but he is quick and can provide some depth 7. Todd Watkins, WR, BYU: A tall (6'3/6'4), big play receiver. He averaged over 20 yards a catch in his junior year and over 18 yards a pop in his career. A very good deep ball receiver. I don't even like the Cards either.

Re: Best NFL Draft Excellent analysis Grozny. I think the Cards did a great job as well. To get a playmaker like Pope in the 3rd round is insanity. The guy was a major weapon at Georgia. Did he have a slow 40 or something? Leinart was a gift at 10 and will learn a lot from Warner. Gabe Watson, though an underachiever at Michigan, has a lot of upside. A guy like Dennis Green could get the most out of him. Great job!
