Re: Worst NFL Draft Buffalo gets my vote. Whitner went about 10 picks too high and I had never seen McCargo in any mock drafts go in the first round and off the top of my head never saw him in the second round either. Youboty and Simpson in the 3rd and 4th round helped save their draft a bit since both were borderline first round picks at some point. Overall I don't think they are much closer to being a competitive team as they were before the draft.

Re: Worst NFL Draft Houston had a good draft but they were stupid to take Mario Williams with the 1st pick. They should have traded down and gotten some added picks if they really had their hearts set on Mr. Williams. I predicted that he won't be anything like Peppers.

Re: Worst NFL Draft Well, the only problem with Houston trading down would've been that they needed to stay in the top 5 to get Williams. Who in the top 5 would've or could've traded up to get Bush? I never could figure out any feasible trade scenario.

Re: Worst NFL Draft I can't imagine that the Jets would not have wanted a crack at Reggie. He would be a great replacement for Curtis Martin. Ferguson, while a good Tackle prospect, was not an all-world beater (Tony Boselli type) at Virginia (I saw plenty of their games). In truth, I think Justice is every bit as good as Ferguson. I think Justice had some "character" issues, but that's besides the point. I would much rather have a game changing player like Bush than a good tackle like Ferguson. I'm not sure what they would of had to given up to get the number 1 spot but whatever. I personally think drafting a DE number 1 is not the best of moves.

Re: Worst NFL Draft My vote is for the Bears...I see them losing a lot of games 0 to 3...strong defense that gives up a field goal, but the offense never gets past mid field...

Re: Worst NFL Draft Yeah, I am suprised the Bears didn't go for someone on the offensive side of the ball sooner. There were a lot of good offensive players in the middle rounds that really could have helped them. Devin Hester might be a good returner or possibly a deep threat receiver but I don't see him having that much of an impact. Leonard Pope (TE from Georgia who went in the 3rd round) would probably have been a better pick for them at this spot.
