Draft review

lets review the draft who had the best who had the worst

Best draft: Browns - they got 2 franchise players in 1 round how good is that and Eric Wright who they got in the 2nd round is a top 15 talent with chactiter is issues overalll a great draft

Worst draft : Eagles - they traded there first round pick 2 arch rival Dallas they took Kevin Kolb a round or 2 too high and all round bad draft

Player took to high : Chris Henry RB Titans - hes been a back up his whole life had very good combine making him a star i thought a 4th or 5th round pick but a secound no way

Player took too low : Brady Quinn QB Browns - i thought he was a top 3 pick but apprentlt not he got a good team but number 22 thats outragus

Re: Draft review

BEST DRAFT - Obviously Cleveland had a very good one - anytime you can land a pair of top five players, you're doing extremely well. But since you already took them, I'm going to throw a curveball and say the Carolina Panthers. Every player they drafted should make their roster and contribute. Beason will either start beside or replace Dan Morgan, Dwayne Jarrett is a solid #3 receiver and Kalil and Johnson in rounds 3 and 4 were outright steals. Ryne Robinson and Dante Rosario were considered underrated prospects, Tim Shaw is listed as a LB/S tweener who can contribute immediately and Wilson has great speed and quickness, and while his technique needs some work, he could be a Dime DB right off the bat. Honorable mentions to the Browns, Falcons, Bills and Niners.

WORST DRAFT - Plenty of bad ones out there, but the nod for the worst in my book goes to Denver, who used three of four picks (including a trade-up) on defensive linemen, none of whom will be likely first day starters. Jarvis Moss is talented but is still considered a "work-in-progress". Tim Crowder underachieves and has to learn how to get off the snap better. Marcus Thomas is a living, breathing character issue who was twice thrown off the Gators team, and he struggles against cut blocks. Their other pick, Notre Dame OT Ryan Harris, has good size but has trouble holding blocks and tends to get pushed around by bigger defenders. Terrible drafting, if you ask me.

PLAYER TAKEN TOO HIGH - Henry fits the bill, as does Ted Ginn, but I'm going to go with Green Bay's first round pick, #16 overall, DT Justin Harrell out of Tennessee. Harrell was, on most boards, considered the third or fourth best DT in the draft, and went almost a full round higher than many expected. There's a medical issue with a torn bicep here, making him a tremendous risk in the middle of the first round?

PLAYER TAKEN TOO LOW - Okay, going away from the obvious Quinn pick here to go with Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas - rated as a top 3 corner, and ahead of Darrelle Revis on some boards, Houston fell to the 41st pick overall and the Atlanta Falcons. Drafted ahead of him? Revis, Leon Hall, Brandon Merriweather, Aaron Ross and Eric Weddle. There are a lot of teams who are going to regret passing on Houston, who really is the total mental and physical package and already comes in having faced NFL-caliber receivers like fellow first-day picks Dwayne Bowe and Robert Meachem.

Tennessee's was pretty bad. Houston didn't fill need, but at least they came away with a great defensive player in Okoye.

Re: Draft review

Which of them has more experience? I would like to say Schaub, but the answer is probably Carr.
