| Re: GoTeamsGo NFL Draft Live Chat April 28-29 This thread may not be as active as it was yesterday now that we're so late in the draft, but feel free to post a comment or observation if you so desire. I'm still interested to see where Troy Smith and Chris Leak will be drafted... or if they'll be drafted at all!

| Re: GoTeamsGo NFL Draft Live Chat April 28-29 Well, here's the word from the Bruins website from Dec. 2006: "Medlock was named a first-team All-American by Associated Press while Hickman was named to the second team. Both were selected first-team All-America by The Sporting News... Medlock has made 26 of 30 field goals (he had a string of 14 straight halted at Notre Dame) and all 26 PATs for a team-high 104 points. He ranks first nationally in field goals (2.17 per game) and 12th in the NCAA and first in the Pac-10 in scoring (8.67). His 104 points are a career high and rank No. 8 (tied) on UCLA's single-season scoring list and his 26 field goals are the second-most in school history." |

| Re: GoTeamsGo NFL Draft Live Chat April 28-29 Here's the scouting report on Williams from John Murphy at Yahoo! Sports: "A speedster who entered last season with his sights set on being a potential first-round choice, Williams ran sloppy routes and had far too many drops during an inconsistent senior year. He has all the physical tools and proved that in the postseason with strong efforts at both the East-West Shrine Game and Senior Bowl. He eats up ground after the catch, has long arms and can out leap defenders on jump balls. He shows that rare extra gear when the ball is in the air. He has a fluid body and can time his leaps perfectly, but is not always physical when fighting for the ball. He will fit best on a team that uses a lot of multiple-receiver sets because he will get matched up against opponent's nickel and dime backs." And here's what Frank Coyle of Draft Insiders' Digest says about Davis: "Fine addition as a role player with the athletic talent to win the slot receiver role fairly early in his career and the punt return duties possibly as a rookie. He needs to make further progress in key areas such as strength and route running to make it. David has the talent to surprise in camp and earn a key spot as a good role player and a fine bargain as a late selection. The Dolphins and Bucs hope to keep him in the state." |

| Re: Paul Williams Titans 3rd Pick Moved your post over here, Vince... Smith to Baltimore's a shock. They seemed to think it was gonna be Tyler Palko to the Ravens because of the Matt Cavanaugh connection. But I guess having Steve McNair mentor Smith isn't all that bad of an idea. |
