| Re: Calvin Johnson clocks 4.31 in Combine Running a 4.35 just proves what was already known: he is the unquestioned best player in the Draft. His only weakness is kryptonite. Unfortunately for him, the first two teams have relatively no interest in him. The Oakland Raiders have made up with Randy Moss and Jerry Porter, so that takes wide receiver out theoretically. Plus, Al Davis is busy slobbering over JaMarcus Russell's size and arm strength. Matt Millen knows there will be riot in Detroit if he drafts their fourth wide receiver in six years. The Browns will probably pass over him as well, but they are at least in the spot where they can better their position because of it. Leaving Tampa Bay to be the odds-on favorite to draft him. That said, if I was general manager of the first, second, and third teams I would draft him in a heartbeat unless I could get the bulk of a draft from another team. |
