Cool Re: Mock NFL Draft

New Orleans needs help stopping the run selects: Orien Harris - DT - Miami Fl

And as long as I'm a Jet fan - I'll select - WR- DereK Hagan -Arizona State

Sorry to hog the board but I got to roll so I'm done here for now.

Quote:
Lefty: Bob Glauber of Newsday has something to say about your 20th pick to KC.

"There's some concern about Boston College defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka, who is 6-7 but weighs only about 261 pounds. One scout told me he thought that was unusually light, and the fact he did only 17 reps of 225 pounds was disconcerting, especially because he's a likely first-round pick"

Didn't you go the combine?
Hey, he's gonna be a Dwight Freeney-type. Just you wait and see!

Where we at, Green Bay?

They just cut one Ohio State linebacker, so its clearly time to draft another: Bobby Carpenter, LB, Ohio State

Re: Mock NFL Draft

I know its getting kinda confusing with 36 picks made, but just make sure to double check the recap that I put on every page so that we don't have a double pick.

Btw, Thanks for everyone who is playing along and making this a fun thread!!

Re: Mock NFL Draft

Wanting a partner for the one-handed catching freak known as Brandon Lloyd, the 49ers, with the 37th pick, select Maurice Stovall WR from Notre Dame

Since the Raiders are my favorite team, I'll make their pick as well. In desperate need of defense in nearly every position, the Raiders with the 38th pick take tackling machine D'Qwell Jackson LB from Maryland..

Buffalo is on the clock

Buffalo?...There is confusion in the room...me thinks its the Titans turn?...Titans go up to the mike...look around the room?...look back at the commissioner...and slowly calls out the 39th pick...Antonio Cromartie, CB, FSU

Re: Mock NFL Draft

An intern quick makes the selection while Millen's in the toilet, and the Lions actually make a smart pick for a change - Manny Lawson, DE/OLB, N.C. State. That brings us to Arizona, right?

Re: Mock NFL Draft

The Cardinals are up and they need to address their OL issues. They were dead freaking last in running the ball last year and were sacked 45 times. So with the 41st pick the Cards select OT Eric Winston from Miami.

Buffalo is now on the clock.......for real.

Re: Mock NFL Draft

I'm just curious what the reasoning was behind the Bengals trading thier first round pick for another over priced DE.

Cool Re: Mock NFL Draft

Who Dey - the logic is this: The Bengals have a great offense. If they improved their defense - especially their pass defense, they could compete for the Super Bowl now, in my opinion...John Abraham, while he makes a lot, is a game changer. He's a PREMIERE PASS RUSHER. He can change the entire game by himself.....So I figured The Bengals should go for it this year....P.S. I didn't analyze it death, I'm just having some fun
