NFL Combine

The annual combine begins tomorrow in Indianapolis at the RCA Dome and will take all week. All of the invited draft eligible players will be put through rigorous tests of ability and intelligence. This is the time when guys go through those psychological tests that ask such questions as..."Would you rather be a Dog or a Cat?"

This is the last chance for players to improve (or in some cases, hurt) their draft stock.

Some things to look out for...

-The 1st round QBs...Leinart/Young/Cutler. Can Cutler do well and push himself higher in the top 10? Can Vince overtake Leinart?

-DeAngelo Williams...just how small is he and how well can he run?

-Mario Williams...how fast is he? If he's as fast as some believe, he'll be the first defensive player off the board.

Here's a good site for any and all info on the event....http://nflcombine.net/

Last I heard, Leinart and Young were going to skip the combine. That would make this a great opportunity for Cutler to improve his stock and maybe, just maybe, sneak ahead of the one of the other two.

Titans have the #3 pick and Cutler is a home town favorite. Stranger things have happened but I'll be happy with any of the handful to top flight guys. How can you go wrong with Bush, Lienart, Young et al? But then history tells us there will be several busts in these "can't miss" NFL players.
