How do I prevent getting email notifications about new posts? I checked my email the other day and has 778 messages with about 3/4 of them being new posts, then just checked it today and had 22 messages all saying new post. What do I have to do to stop getting those?

Hopefully I just resolved it for you but in any case you can go to your profile and then click on "User CP".

On the left you'll see "Edit Options" click on that.

Scroll down to "Default Thread Subscription Mode". Make sure it says "Do Not Subscribe"

Again, I believe I fixed it for you but you can double check.

User CP,then Edit Options,Then messaging&notifications,then default thread subscription mode and in the drop down box click Do Not Subscribe.

I had switched it to Do not subsribe the other day and it still didn't work. Im gonna try the "no email notification" thing now. Thanks

Have you cleared the subscriptions you already have going.If not go to the User CP,then to List Subscriptions,then delete those if it shows any.
